CROSSROADS WORSHIP CENTRE was founded as a church that was going to be committed to preaching the Word of God from a Pentecostal perspective. In a day and age, when so many churches are compromising what they stand for, and believe to be truth, we are committed to “standing on the Rock of Ages” regardless of the cost-and there has been a cost! Here are the 4 major points of what we believe. Here at CROSSROADS WORSHIP CENTRE, we believe that the Scriptures (The Holy Bible) are the divinely inspired Word of God. They are the final and all sufficient rule of our faith, there is nothing, nor anyone that we recognize that carries more authority than the Scriptures. In questions of doctrine, practice and lifestyle, etc., we know that we can depend on the Bible for answers! As far as our doctrines and beliefs, not only are they founded in the Scriptures, but our main or cardinal doctrines are based on Jesus the Christ. Here are our four foundational doctrines. JESUS CHRIST is our: SAVIOR- The Bible teaches us that “neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” We teach and preach “ye must be born again!” BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT- The Bible teaches that this gift is for “as many as the Lord our God shall call,” in other words, this promise is for ALL believers. The first initial physical evidence is speaking with other tongues, but it’s purpose is to give “power...and ye shall be witnesses” to carry out the Lord’s command to share the Gospel with all the world. DIVINE HEALER- The Bible teaches that not only does the Blood of Jesus wash away our sins, but that there is also healing for the body in the Atonement. “...with His stripes we are healed.”
